About me

I am a violinist and violist based in Central New Jersey I enjoy exploring a wide range of genres, from classical and musical theater to modern pop and rock.

Biography

Haley Schilla is a violinist and educator who has performed with ensembles including the Plainfield Symphony, St. Peter by the Sea Orchestra, Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra, and Williamsport Symphony. She has appeared at venues such as the Count Basie Center for the Arts, Axelrod Performing Arts Center, The Stone Pony, Wonder Bar, and Brooklyn Made. In addition to concert performances, much of her work includes weddings, private events, and musical productions.

Haley is a full-time middle school strings teacher in Piscataway and maintains a private violin and viola studio. She earned her degree in Music Education and a Violin Performance Certificate from The Pennsylvania State University. With over 25 years of playing experience and more than 15 years of private teaching experience, she brings both artistry and dedication to her work. Haley completed Suzuki teacher training through Temple University and under violinist Linda Fiore.
